TAN YOCK THENG
Somatic Practitioner, Craniosacral Therapy & TRE in Singapore

As a somatic practitioner, Yock Theng (she/her) invites clients back home into their body through supportive touch, verbal cues, and inquiry. Her intention is to support clients in developing a safe relationship between body and mind, where curiosity leads the way and clients feel self-care practices are explored to empower clients between sessions.

Yock Theng has completed both Trauma-Informed Relational Somatics (TIRS) 1 and 2, and is currently deepening her training through Body Intelligence, where she is training in Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy. She has also undertaken training in trauma-informed yoga and Body-Mind Centering; and has facilitated embodied sessions for inquiry with small groups.

Yock Theng came to somatic work through her own journey of mind-body integration. As someone who lived a very mind-driven life, somatic work helped her reconnect with her body. Through open inquiry, she discovered greater awareness, steadiness and integration within the body, and an understanding of boundaries and empowerment in relationships.

Yock Theng works one-on-one with clients who wish to develop a closer relationship with their bodies, and those who may be going through life transitions, or navigating grief that is associated with change. She also offers limited partial scholarships for low-income individuals.

Yock Theng is in the midst of relocating. Please get in touch with her prior to booking a session.
